you have questions? we’ve got answers!

What if I have no idea what I want my wedding to look like?

That’s absolutely okay—truly. Whether you're booking a full-service planning or our Design & Creative Direction package, you’ll receive complete design support. Uncovering your unique style is one of our favorite parts of the process. We’ll guide you with thoughtful questions and curated inspiration to craft a wedding design that feels unmistakably you. Often, it’s easier to respond to a look than to dream it up yourself. If you don’t love it, we will work with you until it is just right!

What’s the difference between a wedding planner and a wedding designer?

A wedding planner focuses on managing the logistics of your celebration—think timelines, vendor coordination, and the behind-the-scenes details. While they may take inspiration from your Pinterest board and refer you to vendors who can help bring your vision to life, the design is often based solely on what you provide.

As wedding designers, we take things several steps further. We not only plan your day with precision, but we also craft the full visual story of your wedding. Your Pinterest board may be a starting point—but we know that what’s been done before doesn’t always reflect what’s you. Whether you have a crystal-clear vision or feel completely unsure, we’re here to help uncover what you love by asking the right questions. From there, we translate your personal style, values, and dreams into a design concept that feels bespoke, cohesive, and breathtaking. “I didn’t even know I wanted that” and “You took my simple idea and turned it into magic” are the kinds of compliments we hear often—and never take for granted.

How much decision-making power do I have if I hire you as a full-service planner?

You’re always in control—we simply bring our creativity, expertise, and industry insights to the table to give you exceptional options to consider. This is your day, your vision, your story. If something doesn’t feel right, we’ll pivot with grace until it does. There’s no ego here—just endless inspiration and thoughtful collaboration to get it just right.

What’s the difference between a wedding planner and a wedding coordinator?

Wedding coordinators focus on the day-of execution. They step in closer to your wedding date, confirm logistics, manage vendor communication, and make sure everything flows smoothly on the big day. Many coordinators work seasonally or part-time and focus solely on the final stages.

While we are full-service planners, we also offer coordination services. The difference? As experienced planners, we’re equipped to anticipate and gracefully handle any curveballs the day may bring. As an added bonus, our Coaching & Coordination couples also receive valuable planning advice throughout the process—not just day-of support—so you benefit from our knowledge and guidance well before you walk down the aisle.

Who will I be working with?

We don’t outsource our planning services. You’ll work directly with one of our owners, Anna or Rachelle, from your first meeting through your wedding day—ensuring a deeply personal, highly attentive planning experience.

What if I decide I need more support after we’ve already started working together?

That’s completely okay—and actually, it happens. Sometimes it’s the time commitment, or the overwhelming number of decisions. Other times it’s the stress of juggling details without the industry knowledge to feel confident in your choices. And sometimes, couples simply realize they want planning to feel less like a second job and more like a joyful, creative experience.

Whatever the reason, we’re here for you. If at any point you’d like to upgrade your package, we’ll walk you through your options and adjust your plan to fit your needs. Any payments you’ve made will be applied toward your new package, which will be priced at the rate in place at the time of the upgrade.

When are you available to meet during the planning process?

We understand that most of our couples are balancing full-time careers and full lives—which don’t typically include wedding planning! That’s why we offer evening and select weekend availability to ensure you always feel supported and heard.

How do you keep everything organized throughout the planning process?

We use a collaborative online platform called Aisle Planner to keep everyone aligned and on track. It houses your planning timeline, vendor details, contracts, proposals, budget, guest list, floorplans, and more—all in one central hub. It even includes a drag-and-drop guest seating feature. Every client receives access to Aisle Planner, whether you're working with us for full planning, design, or coordination.

Do I have to pay for everything up front, and what forms of payment do you accept?

Not at all. Depending on the service selected, payments are typically divided into three or four installments throughout the planning process, with the final balance due 2–4 weeks before your wedding. We accept checks, cash, Venmo, and credit cards (please note, a small processing fee applies to card payments).
